I had this bike after the Honda C90 cub in about 1984. It was the first full bike I’d had since the B31 and they really were generations apart. Being a twin it was a much smoother ride with electric and kick start options.

When I went to work at Rolls-Royce Barnoldswick and lived in Skipton the bike made the trip courtesy of the Rolls-Royce transport department and returned to Derby two and a half years later the same way.

It was a great commuter ride and able and willing in both the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales.

I sold it when I lost my confidence after being knocked off my push bike by a car turning right into a city centre car park. Had I been on the Honda I would have had a very damaged leg.
